Sales tracking

Know where a record came from—and what it proves.

Choose configured store notifications, your server, or reviewed manual records. Clear evidence labels help you make decisions without confusing a reported sale with independently guaranteed revenue.

A concrete starting point

Illustrative: a signed Stripe Checkout event is labeled provider-verified; a sale uploaded by authorized finance is merchant-confirmed. Both still depend on the correct eligible amount and referral match.

How the work moves forward

  1. 1

Choose the tracking path your checkout actually supports.

  2. 2

Configure securely in the app and test the complete referral journey.

  3. 3

Review paid records, attribution and refund updates before approving rewards.

Configured provider notifications

Stripe Checkout, Shopify and WooCommerce have signed-notification paths. They require configuration in your store/provider settings and the app; they are not one-click native store apps. Verified by provider describes the authenticated event source, not a guarantee against fraud, configuration mistakes or customer disputes.

Your server can report a paid sale

An authenticated server API supports other online systems. Reported by your system distinguishes that evidence from provider notifications. Protect keys in the secure settings flow, send consistent order/payment references and include refund events. Public marketing pages never need your private integration secrets.

Manual and CSV are legitimate paths

Authorized finance users can record a paid sale or import supported CSV records. These are merchant-confirmed, including external invoice or bank-transfer payments. Confirm that money was received before entry. A duplicate reference should not become a second commission, and an appointment booking is not a paid sale.

Attribution has boundaries

Links carry referral references and assigned store codes can support matching when configured. Browser privacy restrictions, device switches, blocked storage and missing checkout references can break the journey. Test the exact checkout you use, and reconcile refunds. Attributed revenue is not evidence that the program caused incremental revenue.

Good questions

Can I keep another payment method?

Yes, with supported authenticated server reporting or authorized manual/CSV paid records. That is not a native provider connection.

Does provider-verified mean error-free?

No. It identifies the authenticated source; eligibility, attribution, fraud and disputes still need review.
