Service businesses
Give trusted introductions a paid-purchase rule.
Organize referrals for paid projects and services. Keep your own contracting, invoicing and customer relationship intact while documenting eligible rewards.
Start with the people
Who could you invite?
Invite clients, specialist peers and complementary businesses whose recommendations are relevant and permitted. Explain the agreement and any conflict-of-interest restrictions.
Offer ideas to adapt
- A fixed reward after a qualifying project payment.
- A percentage of a defined eligible paid service amount.
- A campaign for a particular service package, not every inquiry.
Illustrative ideas. Choose your own economics and terms.
Make the numbers explicit
Illustrative: a paid eligible package of $400 with a 5% reward produces $20 in commission. A proposal or unpaid invoice for $400 earns nothing.
Evidence sources
Illustrative, not account dataA realistic workflow for service businesses
- 1
Write qualifying service and payment conditions in the program agreement.
- 2
Approve partners and give them a link, code guidance or approved material.
- 3
Collect payment through the business’s usual checkout or invoice process.
- 4
Record the paid amount with authorized manual/CSV or supported online reporting.
- 5
Review the hold, approve the reward and pay the partner externally.
The operational details matter
Be precise about the payment event
If a job has staged payments, your rules and reporting must identify the eligible paid amount consistently. Avoid counting the same invoice twice or rewarding a quote as a sale. Provider verification and merchant confirmation are different evidence sources.
Don’t outsource the agreement
The business sets commission disputes, permitted promotion and payout expectations. Professional referral rules may restrict certain rewards. Heaven’s Edge does not become the contracting party or provide legal advice.
Budget for two separate payments
Customer service revenue is your business’s revenue. Partner payouts are funded by you. Platform subscription and completed-payout fees are separate; they are not a share of your sales and do not transfer the commission for you.
Questions for your business
Can this track introductions alone?
There is no lead-only commission model in this release. Qualifying paid purchases are required.
Will you pay our referrers automatically?
No. You pay externally and authorized users record the actual payment.
